day! Abgenix uses XenoMouse technology to genetically
engineer mice to develop antibody therapeutics
for such disease targets as inflammatory and autoimmune
disorders, cancer, and transplant-related conditions.
Working with partner Amgen, the company is developing
ABX-EGF or panitumumab, which could treat non-small
cell lung cancer, as well as kidney, colorectal,
and other cancers. Another drug candidate in the
