| The merger activity for this company
is anything but basic. TecScan International,
formed in 2003 through the reverse acquisition
of Phoenix Media Group, has once again changed
ownership and flipped industries. The company,
once a development stage business with plans to
make its mark acquiring biometrics device manufacturers,
restructured its operations through financing
by president Philip Kueber. Following his purchase
of an 81% stake in the company, Kueber used TecScan
as a vehicle to acquire Seattle-based Very Basic
Media, a distributor of instructional videos and
DVDs. TecScan, through a reverse merger, has acquired
Bio-Life Laboratories and once again changed its
business line. |
