BioStratum is developing a number of therapies that may treat diabetes and diabetic complications as well as cancer by regulating the basal lamina, a membrane that is present in all bodily tissues. The company's lead candidate, Pyridorin, is in clinical trials as a possible treatment for diabetic kidney disease. BioStratum is also developing Angiocol, an anti-tumor drug.
